Samsun Deputy Dr Mehmet Muş announced the transfer of the Çarşamba Sugar Factory land and real estate to the Ministry of National Defence (MSB/MoD) for MKE.
Dr Muş emphasized that constructing the new factory marks a significant step toward achieving full independence in the defence industry through transformation. "Raw materials required for ammunition, rocket, and missile technology will be produced entirely domestically in this facility," he stated.
MKE plans to invest 2 billion TL in the project's initial phase. The initiative will be expanded with additional investments in the future to align with the strategic needs of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK).
