Turkish Nurol Makina will unveil the latest configurations of its NMS 4x4 tactical armoured vehicle in the EFES 2024 Exercise’s display area.
The new configurations include NMS Extended Wheelbase (EWB) and NMS Pick-Up with ASELSAN ALKAR mortar system’s 81 mm variant.
NMS EWB focuses on increasing the payload capacity with a wider body. The increased volume allows for more personnel, supplies, and larger mission payloads in the vehicle’s interior.
With its open rear section, NMS Pick-Up is intended for cargo and weapon-carrying missions. In the EFES 2024 Exercise’s display area, this configuration will be exhibited with ASELSAN ALKAR 81 mm to show weapons-carrying capability. ALKAR 81 mm is primarily designed to be compatible with lighter platforms and can hit targets at ranges up to 6.2 km.
Nurol Makina previously revealed the NMS-L configuration during the IDEF’23 exhibition in Istanbul. On its flatbed, it has been fitted with a VENOM LR 30x113 revolver cannon (on Unirobotics’ TRAKON RCWS) and eight ILGAR loitering munitions with a 20 km range.
