The Pakistani Navy announced that Taimoor ALCM successfully hit a maritime target, demonstrating its dual capability of both land and maritime attack.
Taimoor air-launched cruise missile (ALCM) hit a maritime target, following the first publicly announced flight test at the beginning of 2026. While not many details are available on Taimoor, it is known that the missile has a range of 600 km, tied with Ra’ad II ALCM, and incorporates RCS reduction measures.
The guidance is provided by GNSS, INS, terrain-based navigation (DSMAC or TERCOM), and finally, an optical seeker for terminal homing.
Taimoor, alongside Harbah-NG, represents the new generation of Pakistan's cruise arsenal with guidance/navigation improvements at the forefront.
