TUSAŞ has displayed a scaled model of the T925 multirole utility helicopter in its new layout with a reworked fuselage and cabin at the Paris Airshow 2025.
Following TUSAŞ’s official unveiling of the new configuration that is closer to the S-70 utility helicopter in terms of the fuselage, the scaled model was put on display during Paris Airshow 2025. T925’s former configuration was closer to the S-92 with a large cabin and ramp at the expense of aerodynamics.
The scaled model of T925 appears to represent a military configuration judging from the presence of nose-mounted optics and dark olive green colouring, which are typical for a modern military utility helicopter. Turkish Army, Navy, and Directorate of Forestry are expected as the prime operators.
T925 is a follow-up to the T625 Gökbey light utility helicopter with an MTOW of 12 tonnes and more powerful engines. The slightly larger MTOW compared to in-use UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, despite the similar layout, suggests a higher carriage capacity. The helicopter is planned to serve in various military and civilian branches, including the Turkish Navy, in a corresponding configuration with folding rotor blades.
