TUSAŞ to Deliver First T70 to the Gendarmerie
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu announced that the first locally produced utility helicopter would soon be delivered to the Gendarmerie General Command. The Turkish Utility Helicopter Program TUHP consists of 109 Utility Helicopters that will be produced under the licence of Sikorsky. Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu spoke on December 10th about the 2023 budget of the Ministry of Interior at the Turkish National Assembly. During his speech, Soylu said that the first of the T70 Utility Helicopter, developed from Sikorsky Aircraft's S70i Helicopter, was going to be delivered to the Gendarmerie General Command.

TEI is about the start the production of the TF6000 engine
TUSAŞ Engine Industry (TEI) has developed the TF-6000 turbofan engine intending to use in the defence products and energy industry. TEI aims to complete the production of the engine and ignite it for the first time in the first months of 2023. TEI General Manager Mahmut Faruk Akşit said, “Our goal is to complete the production in the first months of the next year and to fire it in the first quarter.”

Farnborough International Airshow began today under extreme heat exceeding 40 Centigrate Celcius. Turkish Aerospace Company exhibits its products and mock-ups at the airshow.
