Pakistani Navy’s PNS Yarmook, the lead ship of Yarmook-class OPVs, equipped with ASELSAN’s systems has joined the NAVDEX 2025 taking place in the UAE.

PNS Yarmook is seen with ASELSAN’s SMASH 200/30 naval RCWS, fitted with a 30x173 mm Mk44 Bushmaster II chain gun. The Turkish Navy and Indonesian Coast Guard also use SMASH 200/30.

The Yarmook class is a class of four OPVs built by Damen in Romania. The OPVs were built in two batches, with the second batch having a larger displacement and complement. The design is based on Damen’s OPV 2600, which has an ideal displacement for use in the wide theatre where the Pakistani Navy operates.

The ships are armed with ASELSAN SMASH 200/30 30 mm RCWS, two SMASH 200/12.7 RCWS, and one Phalanx CIWS are present with works on integration of Habrah anti-ship missiles ongoing.
