ADEX will start on September 24 in Baku and ROKETSAN will exhibit a TEBER laser+GPS guidance kit with a folding wing set.
The same wing set will be used on the LAÇİN IIR guidance kit, which is on display alongside the new configuration of TEBER.
Previously, TEBER's stub-winged version was dropped from AKINCI UCAV, successfully hitting the target. The stub wings have improved the gliding performance, providing UCAVs flying slower than fighter jets with comparable range values at 28 km.
However, this version of TEBER has full-length wings, which might provide a range of 50+ km for UCAVs and 100+ km for fighter jets, based on the similar KGK guidance kit.
TEBER combines a laser seeker and GPS guidance for Mk81 and Mk82 GPBs, allowing for higher accuracy and the engagement of moving targets. The laser seeker doubles as a proximity fuse for airburst detonation, which can cause damage in a wider area against soft targets.
LAÇİN kit alongside TEBER will be used on Mk-82 GPBs with LAÇİN POD for man-in-the-loop guidance through the IIR seeker. The kit can be used standalone or with the folding wing set for longer ranges.
