TUSAŞ’s information panel at its booth for the SAHA EXPO 2026 defence exhibition shows that the fighter will use a new anti-radiation missile externally.
TUSAŞ has put a highly detailed interactive panel to inform the visitors during SAHA EXPO 2026 that includes specifications, roles, and loadouts (if applicable).
The panel includes the internal and external munition options for KAAN, which interestingly includes a new but undisclosed type of anti-radiation missile for external hardpoints.
The missile shown appears to have a ramjet engine due to the presence of air intakes mounted on the sides. Ramjet engines offer sustained speed over the course of travel, which contributes to the chances of going through surrounding defences.
It is known that ROKETSAN is working on the AKBABA anti-radiation missile to be used on KAAN and F-16 ÖZGÜR fighters, as well as other platforms, if it is requested and suitable.
