Turkish defence firm STM will exhibit its naval platforms and tactical UAVs at Indo Defence 2025, one of Asia-Pacific’s key military events, held in Indonesia.
STM will promote its indigenous solutions to Southeast Asian nations with a strong emphasis on naval platforms and autonomous systems. Six key projects will be featured, including the Malaysian Navy’s Corvette under the LMS Batch-2 programme, Türkiye’s national frigate initiative represented by the I-Class Frigate (TCG ISTANBUL), the Pakistan Navy Fleet Tanker, and the STM Multipurpose Attack Craft (MPAC).
The company will also highlight its STM500 submarine, developed for special operations and tactical assault roles. STM500 stands as Türkiye’s first compact submarine platform designed with indigenous expertise. Another critical development on display will be the STM NETA Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), which is undergoing sea trials and offers advanced unmanned underwater capabilities. Additionally, STM will present the new CG-78 Coast Guard Vessel concept for the first time at the exhibition.

Tactical Mini UAV Systems with Combat Experience
On the UAV front, STM will showcase its KARGU rotary-wing loitering munition, Türkiye’s first national attack UAV. KARGU has been exported to over 10 countries on three continents and is available with both anti-personnel and armour-piercing payloads. STM will also show the TOGAN observation UAV, which the Turkish Armed Forces utilise in counterterrorism operations, and the BOYGA UAV, which can deliver ammo very accurately.
STM aims to strengthen its strategic ties in Southeast Asia and expand its global presence in both maritime and aerial domains by integrating surface and subsurface naval technologies with unmanned systems that have been tested in combat.
