At the 2025 Supplier Symposium in Cincinnati, GE Aerospace, one of the main aircraft engine manufacturers worldwide, awarded Türkiye’s top firm in aviation engines the “Supplier of the Year” honour. TEI announced the success in its newsletter.
In the past ten years, TEI has received three supplier awards. TEI was previously named the “Best Supplier” by GE Aerospace, SAFRAN, and CFM International in Paris in 2017 and Shanghai in 2018.
Having worked with GE Aerospace for over 40 years, TEI is the top supplier of the most often chosen civil aviation engines worldwide: LEAP, GEnx, and GE9X. Additionally, it is one of the main providers of the CFM RISE engine program, which aims to ensure the sustainability of aviation engines.
By manufacturing over 2,000 parts and modules for more than 50 civil and military engine programs, TEI today serves strategically in the critical supply chain of the worldwide aviation sector. Apart from aviation engines, TEI is the world’s biggest supplier of the LM9000 gas turbine and greatly helps manufacture gas turbine engines for naval and industrial uses.
Through its indigenous aviation engine development projects and maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, TEI contributes significantly to the worldwide aviation sector and its manufacturing activities. Through more than 10 national and indigenous engine projects developed under the auspices of the Secretariat of Defence Industries, TEI aims to continue expanding in domestic and international markets while establishing new alliances in the next years, helping Türkiye’s national aviation goals.
TEI has recently won the tender for the maintenance work of GE Aerospace LM2500 marine gas turbine engines used on ships.
