The production facility of TOMTAŞ being built in Kayseri for TUSAŞ’s Hürjet Advanced Trainer/LCA will receive project-based support from the government.
Anadolu Agency News reported that the factory being set up by TOMTAŞ for the production of Hürjet at both platform and component levels will receive incentive from the government per the Decision on Providing Project-Based State Aid for Investments. The facility will receive an investment of ₺9.5 billion over a six-year period with a workforce of 1000+ personnel to be employed.
The factory’s initial annual capacity is planned as 12 Hürjet aircraft and 84 main components. The capacity of aircraft production will be increased to 24 and 48 gradually, based on international demand.
An agreement for the montage of 12 Hürjet Block-I aircraft and 60 components was signed, and the activities are set to start in the second half of 2025.
