Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) is involved in the protection and surveillance of the seas, particularly in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions, with its single-engine UAV ANKA and two-engine Aksungur. The UAV"s patrol area has grown thanks to SATCOM. With their superior sensors, unmanned platforms can execute various functions. The UAVs may also serve as a relay point for communication.
Both UAVs can be outfitted with a choice of munitions. Aksungur has a broader spectrum of ammunition than ANKA due to its two engines.
