The era of Demiroğlu, who has a background in mechanical engineering, began in Turkish Aerospace. Demiroğlu draws attention with his expertise in engines.
Today, a new board of directors was formed at the General Assembly held in Turkish Aerospace Industries. While the new Board of Directors elected Ömer Cihad Vardan as the Chairman of the Board in its first meeting, Dr Mehmet Demiroğlu, who was serving as Executive Vice President of Helicopters, was appointed as General Manager by the Board of Directors. Demiroğlu, who started working at TUSAŞ in 2021, was previously working in engine-related units at TUSAŞ Engine Inc
(TEI) and BMC Power.
It is assumed that TUSAŞ will have many priorities in the next term. While the company starts the serial or prototype production of various aerial platforms, it will also solve engine procurement problems for those platforms. Demiroğlu’s expertise in mechanical engineering will contribute to the company.
