Otokar increased its vehicle sales to 3,430 units in the first half of 2025, driven by strong domestic and global demand, including major defence exports.
Otokar has established a joint venture with Romania’s Automecanica S.A. to manufacture COBRA II vehicles, marking Turkiye’s largest armoured export deal.
Otokar CEO İbrahim Aykut Özüner stated that the deliveries of ARMA 6x6 armoured personnel carriers have begun and will continue in 2025 for the Estonian Army.
Otokar will have achieved a milestone with the first factory in Europe for Romania’s large-scale order for 1059 Cobra II 4x4 tactical wheeled armoured vehicles.
Otokar General Manager Serdar Görgüç will retire in soon, and TürkTraktör Company Leader İbrahim Aykut Özüner will replace him.
