ASELSAN Announces 2023 Financial Results

ASELSAN announced 2023 financial results. Accordingly, ASELSAN's annual turnover grew by ten per cent compared to the previous year and reached 73.6 billion TL. While the Company's gross profit increased by 13 per cent compared to the same period last year, Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation, and Tax (EBITDA) increased by 14 per cent, reaching 16 billion TL. ASELSAN's net profit reached 7.4 billion TL, with an EBITDA margin of 22 per cent. The Company's equity capital to assets ratio was 59 per cent. ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol evaluated the Company's year-end financial results as follows: With the $5 billion in orders we received in 2023, our Company's balance orders at the end of 2023 reached $11 Billion, a historical record. 2023 was a year in which ASELSAN achieved significant success in exports. We exported to four countries for the first time. We exported more than 20 products for the first time. We have proven ASELSAN's competence in this field, especially with the tank modernization tender we won in Chile, on the other side of the world. In 2023, we achieved historical success by signing a new export contract worth 601 million dollars. In 2023, we ranked 47th among the world's largest defence industry companies. We took the lead among the companies that spend the most on R&D in Turkiye. The fact that the number of our employees will exceed 10,500 in 2023, the majority of whom are engineers, is another development that shows the level ASELSAN has reached.
