AsisGuard’s Armed UAV Songar is exported to Asia-Pacific

Songar, Asisguard’s Armed UAV product, was exported to a country in the Asia-Pacific region. The company’s General Manager Barış Düzgün, said, “We made a high number of sales to a country in the Asia-Pacific region, and we received our advance payment. We should finish deliveries this year.”

Indicating that the exported product is the most superior version of Songar, Düzgün said that they would deliver a product with night vision capabilities capable of carrying 5.56-millimetre weapons and meeting the user’s requirements. Düzgün said, “This will enable us to integrate new systems into Songar and gain advantages in new markets.” He also said that they are waiting for further orders.AsisGuard’s Armed UAV Songar is exported to an Asia-Pacific countryDüzgün said that they do not design an alternative to the drone they have produced and that they preferred integration with existing weapons and systems and added, “We have integrated the MPT-55 produced by Sarsılmaz. This way, we can integrate into countries with 5.45-millimetre weapons. We have integrated a 40 mm grenade launcher with Aktaş Arms, a six rocket launch system with Troy Teknoloji Savunma, a smoke bomb for civil disobedience, and TÜBİTAK SAGE’s 81 mm Togan ammunition. Just having a gun is not enough. The drone needs to see where it’s shooting. In this context, we also added a gimbal to our drone’s night vision operation capability.”
