Baykar Joins DIMDEX 2024 in Qatar with AKINCI and TB2

Bayraktar TB2, the first armed UAV of the company, saw success in conflicts around the world, such as counter-terrorism operations in Syria and Northern Iraq, the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War, Russo-Ukrainian War, and counter-insurgency operations in Africa. The armed UAV has been exported to 33 countries in total.
Bayraktar TB2’s payloads include electro-optics, Italian Osprey 30 radar (Used by Polish TB2s), MAM-L and MAM-C unpowered munitions, and most recently the KEMANKEŞ loitering munition.
Bayraktar AKINCI, the much larger follow-up to the Bayraktar TB2 with a greater payload, will serve as a multi-purpose platform in the years to come. The UCAV has been confirmed to be exported to nine countries, confirmed ones being Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia, and Saudi Arabia.
AKINCI can use the majority of armament used by fighter aircraft with a payload capacity of 1.5+ tonnes, like general-purpose bombs and cruise missiles. With munitions like ÇAKIR cruise missiles and UAV-series supersonic aero ballistic missiles, AKINCI will be capable of conducting stand-off strikes up to ranges of 150+ km. With the integration of MURAD AESA radar and air-to-air missiles, AKINCI will gain surveillance and engagement capability against some airborne threats.
