Pakistan National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP) was officially launched on Friday, 4 August. Baykar also took place in the facility Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif opened. Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar and NASTP Commander Lieutenant General Ghulam Abbas Ghumman signed the cooperation agreement between Baykar and NASTP.
Following the ceremony, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Selçuk Bayraktar, Pakistan Chief of General Staff General Syed Asim Munir Ahmad Shah, Air Force Commander General Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and NASTP Commander Lieutenant General Ghulam Abbas Ghumman took a souvenir photo in front of Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV, which is in the inventory of Pakistan Air Force.
Baykar’s “Baykar Technology” company will contribute to Pakistan’s aerospace ecosystem. The company will carry out R&D activities within NASTP. Baykar will further deepen its cooperation with Pakistan in strategic areas.
