China recently showcased an improved version of the J-15 ship-borne fighter jet, which has recently completed test flights. According to sources, the new aircraft's missile pylons, infrared search and track system, radar, and wings have all been improved.
Shenyang Aircraft Co, a subsidiary of the state-owned Aviation Industry Corp of China, posted photos on its social media account on Tuesday, introducing its production activities as the year comes to a close.
One of the photographs showed a J-15 fighter jet taxiing on a runway with the help of a tug truck, drawing the media"s attention.
When compared to earlier J-15s, this one features many differences. This indicates that it is an improved version, according to eastday.com, a Shanghai-based news website, on Wednesday.
According to the image, the new J-15 fighter jet employs a new type of wingtip pylon - the same as the J-16 fighter jet - to replace the older type used on the J-11B fighter plane.
