Turkish Aerospace has initiated the Hürjet project with its own resources to develop competent aircraft. The company aims to reach export success in the jet trainer market, which considerable movements expected because of replacement requirements of older aircraft still in use.
Hürjet Starts Engine
President of the Defence Industry Agency (SSB), Professor Ismail Demir, published information about the step. The F404 engine of the Hürjet jet trainer aircraft started for the first time on the fuselage with the test. The trial has been carried out under standard aviation safety precautions. According to the shared images, the test was completed without any problem.
