Research Center Command (ARMERKOM) started its research and development activities within the Naval Forces Command with a group formed within the Gölcük Shipyard Command in 1975 following the post-Cyprus Peace Operation period. Today, ARMERKOM is the leading organization that carries out the activities of the Naval Forces Command in the field of electronic warfare.

Havelsan’s ADVENT is Network Enabled Data Integrated Combat Management System. ADVENT is a new generation command and control system for a force-oriented, network-enabled operational approach rather than a single ship. ADVENT will be used as CMS in the abovementioned vessels and Pakistani and Ukrainian Corvettes.

Link 22 is a secure digital radio link in the HF and UHF bands that provides beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) communications and is used by military forces as a tactical data link.

Link 22 connects air, surface, subsurface, and ground-based tactical data systems and exchanges tactical data among participating nations’ military units.

The goals of Link 22 are to replace Link 11, thereby removing Link 11’s inherent limitations, to improve Allied interoperability, to supplement Link 16, and to improve commanders’ warfighting capability.
