Turkiye supports Bosnia and. Herzegovina’s efforts to become a NATO country.
NATO, Bosnia, and Herzegovina are pursuing a broad and mutually advantageous cooperation agenda that includes support for democratic, institutional, security sector, and defence reforms. As the primary framework for collaboration, the Reform Programme guides the country’s reform initiatives as it continues on its Euro-Atlantic course.
Bosnia and Herzegovina joined the Partnership for Peace (PfP) programme in 2006 and was invited to join the Membership Action Plan (MAP) in 2010. Participation in the MAP does not guarantee future membership. The Bosnia and Herzegovina Reform Programme outlines the government’s reforms and facilitates NATO support for these efforts.
