The U.S. State Department approved a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMA) to Morocco of Javelin Missiles and related equipment for an estimated cost of $260 million. The Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) delivered the required certification, notifying Congress of this possible sale today.
Morocco has requested 612 Javelin FGM-148F missiles and 200 Javelin Lightweight Command Launch Units (LWCLUs). The total estimated cost is $260 million.
The prime contractors will be the Javelin Joint Venture between Lockheed Martin and RTX Corporation.
