The aircraft will be towed to Navegantes Airport to prepare the Gripen Flight Test Center in Gavião Peixoto (SP), where the Brazilian Air Force (Força Aérea Brasileira / FAB) Embraer and Saab test pilots will conduct flight tests of the aircraft to get a military certificate.
A total of four F-39 Gripens are expected to be delivered to the FAB in the first half of 2022.
