SSB moves fast and systematic on the UAV project

Presidency of Defence Industries conducted a technological capability show among eight companies that wanted to participate at a tender. Companies were asked to prove that their UAVs meet the requirements. Before the IDEF, companies came together at Eskişehir for two days and tested their products in front of officials.TurDef learned that eight companies wanted to use their right to participate in the trials held under the supervision of the SSB. The UAVs were asked to take off vertically(VTOL), fly horizontally in the area allocated to them for two hours, return to the starting point and make a vertical landing. Some of the companies withdraw from the demonstration prior to the test. Some passed the tests. SSB will announce in October successful companies and invite them to attend the tender.
