Land Forces Command Receives a New ATAK Helicopter

Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) deliv

ered the T129 ATAK Phase-2 Helicopter to the Land Forces Command, according to President of Defence Industries (SSB) Professor İsmail Demir.TUSAŞ has produced 68 helicopters for the security forces as part of the T129 ATAK project. The Land Forces Command received 56 ATAK helicopters, the Gendarmerie General Command received nine, and the General Directorate of Security received three. The Gendarmerie General Command will receive 15 ATAK helicopters as part of the ATAK additional contracts.

TUSAŞ manufactures six helicopters to be exported for the Philippines defence ministry.
