The Defence Industry Agency (SSB) initiated the 6x6 Wheeled Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Development Project to meet the needs of the Land Forces Command and the General Directorate of Security. The signing ceremony was held at the 16th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF) ,which SSB President Professor Haluk Görgün attended.
Elektroland and Milsoft companies will cooperate in providing the High Mobility, Independent Suspension System to develop 6x6 wheeled UGV prototypes with high mobility and an independent suspension system.
Within the project's scope, it will supply a 6x6 wheeled remote-controlled vehicle with logistics concept and fiel trial activities and a prototype vehicle with different configurations and autonomous features.
Following the field tests, new concepts will be introduced.
