TEI Upgrades Oman’s F110-GE-129 Engine

Following the agreement with GE Aerospace, TEI modified the F110-GE-129 engines of the Oman Air Force to F110-GE-129D. TEI, which provides maintenance, repair, testing, and engineering services for various military engines, has achieved a new milestone. The firm now has the capacity to service F110 engines that power F16 and F15 aircraft. At the 2023 Paris Air Show, TEI struck an agreement with GE Aerospace to supply F110 engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to the fleets of Oman and Singapore.

An F110-GE-129 engine belonging to the Oman Air Force underwent maintenance, repair, and technology upgrades in the first month of 2024. The customer received the updated F110-GE-129D engine, which was ready for flight. This operation is significant since it is the first Oman Air Force engine to have its maintenance activities completed by TEI. It will also guide the Singapore Air Force’s future plans to maintain, repair, and overhaul F110-GE-129C engines.
