Koluman, which produces the Turkish Army’s logistic support trucks, Derman, exhibits its armoured Container Carrier Vehicles (DROPS) at the Eurosatory Expo.
Koluman Automotive Industry (KOE) started its R&D studies to meet the requirement of an 8x8 logistic support vehicle with an armoured cabin at the end of 2015 and introduced the DERMAN 8x8 Armoured Logistic Support Vehicle at the end of 2018. With its production infrastructure, KOE can meet the 8x8 truck and tow truck requirements required by the Turkish Armed Forces and NATO Armies for various special systems.
The company signed a supply contract with the Turkish Defence Procurement Authority SSB and delivered most of its vehicles.
The vehicle may carry a 20-tonne ICC container. The basic cabin is armoured and can be prepared for ballistic levels up to mine blast.
