Turkish Aerospace’s Hürjet aircraft and Gökbey helicopter will fly for the first time abroad in the U.K. at the Farnborough Air Show in July.
Turkish Aerospace’s Hürjet Advanced Trainer and Light Attack Aircraft is seeking export customers. The aircraft was shortlisted in Malaysia. It will attend the Spanish tender and take the skies in the U.K. and Egypt. The Farnborough Air Show announced the preliminary show timetable. Hürjet was known to fly first in Egypt in September. This move indicates that Hürjet’s first stop will be the UK, not Egypt.
According to the timetable, Turkish Aerospace Gökbey utility Helicopter, Turkish Aerospace Hürjet both platforms are among the platforms such as Airbus A321 253 XLR, Embraer KC-390, ATR 72-600F that are waiting for flying display confirmation.
Turkish Aerospace T129 Atak helicopter and Hürkuş turboprop aircraft have formerly joined the airshow with static and flying displays.
