Farnborough International Airshow ( FIA) is currently held in Farnborough, United Kingdom. The Airshow was last held in 2018 before the Covid-19 Pandemic. As it is one of the two biggest airshow events in Europe, along with Paris Le Bourget, there were big expectations. Le Bourget was not held during the pandemic as well. The first two days of the Airshow were held under extreme climate conditions. The temperature exceeding 40 Centigrate Celcius was an acute problem. The Airshow lacked spectators as it was impossible to stand outside due to the heat wave.
Farnborough International Airshow began today under extreme heat exceeding 40 Centigrate Celcius. Turkish Aerospace Company exhibits its products and mock-ups at the airshow. Turkiye’s Indigenous Fighter TF mock-up is displayed with its weapon payload. Advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft Hürjet’s mock-up is displayed in Turkish Flag colours. The mock-up is indicated for the first time.
TUSAŞ will be in the UK between 18-22 July 2022 to attend the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), one of the essential aviation fairs in the world.
